Huran Campaign
The Huran Campaign was the first major deployment of Ereban military forces following the Sholeini Reforms. The campaign consisted of a blockade and amphibious invasion launched by the Second and Third Fleets and I, III, and VI Legions of Ereba. After three months, the invaders had successfully routed the ogre-led army that held the city of Hur, killed their leaders, and driven the survivors deep into the Sillisti Mountains.
Ereban forces during the campaign were backed up by several dozen adventuring bands, most of which fought a guerrilla war in the eastern Sillisti range, attacking enemy supply lines, encampments, and villages. While histories of Ereba refer to much of the mountain fighting, and the entire Huran Campaign in general, as "atrocities" or "brutal", at the time Ereban support for the methods used was very high, enough to propel the nation the next year to launch the Sillisti Campaign, which included what is now known as the Sillisti Purge.
