Somnia's Dream

A staff of gnarled and aged oak, topped with a brass sundial of indeterminate cultural or racial origins. The walking stick of Somnabulus, god of sleep and dreaming. It is said to contain parts of the subconscious entities of all who have ever died in dreams. A powerful relic, it can cause unending sleep or eternal wakefulness(and insanity), influence dreams, or even give the dreamer insight into the future in the form of prophetic dreams.

The Awakened were said to be offering anyone who comes into possession of the staff social status or large monetary rewards, as they believed that the key to eternal vigilance lay within it's secrets.
