Schnickel Damper
The Schnickel Damper is a device designed to prevent deadly paradoxical thinking while the Spirit Displacement Device (SDD) is in use. It employs psycholinearity circuitry to break recursive cognitive cycles that can be amplified by the SDD.
This device is named after a student of Franz Snell, the late Ernst Schnickel, whose death while testing the SDD spurred the development of this safety feature.
