Rab'ka-nasa
The Rab'kanasa is the historic epic of the Rab'ka people of Ias. Composed orally in the years before The Rab'ka Invasions of the greater part of Ias, when the Rab'ka were simply a collection of tribes in (modern) Lakash, the epic is primary the tale of legendary hero Ael'kisa.
Structure and Plot of the Epic
The epic in its canonical form consists of 6 books. In stark contrast to the more playful dilawan, the Rab'ka-nasa's plot is serious from the outset, detailing Ael'kisa's struggles with evil chieftains, lords of the underworld, and treachery within his own tribe.
Theme
The prevailing theme of the epic is a sought-after unity for all Rab'ka speakers under the wise rule of a worthy and just man.
