Oakland City Dueling Commission
The Oakland City Dueling Commission is the body which governs all legal dueling in Oakland, CA. The Commission is appointed by the mayor and comprises seven voting Magistrates plus an eighth non-voting advisory member, who is consulted for unbiased expertise. The non-voting member is almost always an experienced and respected former dueler and has frequently been a former Municipal Champion.
