New Savolin
New Savolin is the capital of the Imperial Province of Western Ereba and its second-largest city. Located at the intersection of the Golden and Cullis Rivers, New Savolin was originally founded following the sudden northward shift in the Golden River's course in 1172 4A, when Savolin (now Old Savolin) was left dry. The city is divided in three sections by the rivers. The south bank houses most of the city's population and much of its industry, while the north is less developed and home to much of the city's elite. The city's main marketplace is built in the V between the two rivers, along the trade route west. Eastbound goods are sent downriver toward Fiora.
Houses Pinala and Scilla control most of New Savolin, though House Cullis has significant holdings just west of the city.
