Final Jeremiad

The Final Jeremiad is the name for a compendium of written material edited by Borca Polit. The compendium was meant to compile prominent articles by authors from the New Ruralist school. As the name implies, the majority of these articles called into question the practices of contemporary society. This fits largely with the New Ruralist school's teachings.

Critical Reception

The work was well-received within the small community of the New Ruralists, but largely ignored outside of it. The few so-called "mainstream" media outlets to review the compendium were at once put off by the character of the writing. In particular, the Marsden Chronicle called it "Comically parochial."
