Esmeralda Dragao
Esmeralda Dragao was the (in)famous daughter of the slightly less famous Portuguese Commodore Bonifacio Dragao. She was memorably described in volume 3 the extensive diaries of the renowned nautical vagabond Pontius Tacklethorpe:
"Esmeralda had the skin of a porcelain doll and the sea legs of a harbor shantytown drunkard, but her father was a commodore with a whale knife."
