Accordian Campaign
Ereban military campaign from 986-991 FA which conquered more than half of the lands in the Accordian Principalities. While the campaign's stated goal was to conquer all of Accordia, Ereban military commanders chose to halt the advance in 988 after a series of skirmishes with the Whiteacre Elves. Unwilling to open a second front with the troops available, Ereba's forces adopted a defensive stance until spring 990, when a combination of political pressure and the addition of two new legions to the campaign spurred a new advance.
This second phase of the campaign met with far less success than the first, as the eastern Accordians had created a large combined army and significant defensive works, and the Erebans were repeatedly forced to enter into protracted sieges while fending off rebellions and Whiteacre incursions. Finally, in 991 the campaign was declared over and the Erebans set about pacifying and assimilating the territory they had taken.
