47.1 Spike
The 47.1 Spike was the original name given to the first extrasolar contact received by theRetinou Star System. The name refers to the specific frequency on which early Anyog radio telescopes detected a massive spike of seemingly structured information. When the information was finally "translated" by the logosopher Tariik Gaun Oran, it was revealed that the communication had come from a then unknown human civilization in the Shidxo Star System. Thereafter, the message became widely known as the "Shidxo First Contact".
