Oaktown Mindeater Session
Overview
Oaktown Mindeater Session is a 6-cassette bootleg recording of the band Mince's 1995 epic 48-hour non-stop concert at the Oakland Norswedish Hall. Since then, it has been copied and passed around the band's fan base and has achieved mythic status.
While the six sides only capture six separate 45-minute snippets of the total performance, they are spread out over several hours and are considered to have been a good sampling of the various moods and directions the performance took, including the final 30 minutes of music, and ten minutes of the fight that immediately followed.
It is also considered by connoisseurs of the Nantucket Sound Death Metal Scene to be absolutely essential listening to fully appreciate Live Mince, recorded later that same year.

The Band have consistantly declined to address the controversy except to deny that anyone can be heard screaming "Sweet Jesus, she's bleeding from the ears! Won't you please stop?"
