Lopna Bilegitimacy Doctrine

Lopna Bilegitimacy Doctrine is the philosophy by which the polity of Lopna functions. Following the somewhat messy unification of the continent, popular discontent with the sole rule of the aristocracy led to a compromise - the executive (see: Supreme Executive) would be selected from and by the aristocracy, but the legislature would be popularly elected. This compromise transformed what could have been a violent clash into a strictly political one.
