Carrots are good for your eyes
The slam poet Arnis Radis, on the downside of his career, placed 16th at the Beatz! National Tour with this poem, in part because of his forceful insistence that in his recitation "form should follow function." As such, he attempted to recite the work as though he were reading an eye chart.
The text of the poem, generally agreed to be his most self-indulgent, is produced below, with some attempt to reproduce the manner in which it was spoken:
