Camelcore
Camelcore combines elements of traditional hardcore, sand-funk and progressive wave metal. It is, in the words of noted enthusiast and early camelcore artist P. Barnaby Stanislaus, that it is meant to evoke the bleat of a camel who is both thirsty and also aware of his own painfully small and brutally short place in the cosmos. According to to Stanislaus: "This camel, he has to be fucking thirsty. Get that fucking microphone out of my face. You know nothing of camels."
Vytautas Kosciuszko of Continental Grift recorded one of the most successful camelcore songs to date to date, Revolt of the Cacti Kings.
